It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Holiday parades and twinkling lights are in full force and Connors State is joining in. The City of Warner hosted their holiday parade this past Saturday. Floats passed through downtown Warner after starting at the Countryside Estates Nursing Home. CSC students and staff spent the last month designing and  constructing the college’s float. The theme of the float was an Icy Winterland designed by Andrea Elliot, Administrative Assistant to the Director of Residential Life. There were lots of CSC hands involved in the construction. Aaron Wright, Director of Residential Life headed up the efforts and had help from CSC students, Dusty Hayes, Lee Stewart, Tyler Patterson, Christie Hayes and the CSC Maintenance Department.

Dr. and Mrs. Faltyn rode on the float with many of our CSC students and threw out candy to parade spectators. Connors will keep the holiday spirit going by hosting a “Christmas Barn Lighting” event later this week. Check back for details on this event.
