Cowboy Baseball Break Into the Top 20

With the Cowboys 16th consecutive win also came a #19 ranking in the NJCAA National Polls March 13. The Cowboy’s lastest win came when they traveled to Arkansas to take on University of Ozark. Perry Keith’s Cowboys scored 35 runs in a doubleheader sweep, 18-0 in game one and 17-3 in game two. In game one Daniel Concepcion started on the mound and shut out U of O and struck out 10. Yariel Gonzalez hit two home runs and Tyler Fourkiller, Jake Borrego and Dalton Daniels had 3 hits each. …The Cowboys had eight straight hits in the 3rd inning scoring 7 runs. In game two the Cowboys trailed 3 to 2 in the 3rd until Christian Perez and Korey Keith reached on base hits and Eli Roundtree hit a towering home run over the right field wall TO PUT THE Cowboys up 5-3. The Cowboys would not look blowing the Panthers out in the next two innings, Perez, Keith, Roundtree, Hunter Simpson, Yariel Gonzalez and Dalton Daniels had two hits each. Zane Dougan started on the mound for the Cowboys going 4 innings to record his first win of the year. The Cowboys are currently 18-1.
