Connors State College exhibited ten head of cattle in the open show at the Tulsa State
Fair on Oct. 1 and 2. Up against 120 other competitors, CSC won Grand Champion
with the Santa Gertrudis bull, “HB HEF.” Blake Nelson, Director of Farm Operations,
commented, “The win at Tulsa is great for the college and the division of
agriculture. At Connors we strive to put our students around the best animals
possible and present examples of the best management practices presently
available. We have a great farm staff who have the knowledge and drive to push our students into being the cattle industry
leaders of tomorrow. This finish will increase ‘Hef’s’ chances at being National Yearling Show Bull of the Year.”

We have a very talented team of students, faculty and staff who make our success possible. I am very proud of our farm management team and how they represented Connors State College,” states Dr. Tim Faltyn, Connors State College President.
