Connors State College is pleased to announce that Mike Lewis, of Lawrence, Kan., has accepted the position of Vice President of Fiscal Services.  Lewis has served as the Chief Financial Officer at Haskell University for the past ten years and is excited to return to Oklahoma.

“I grew up in Midwest City, Okla.,” said Lewis, “However; I have roots in eastern Oklahoma as well.  My father grew up in Stillwell, Okla., where we visited quite frequently.”

During his time at Haskell, Lewis helped the college overcome many obstacles including gaining their first grants indirect rate, infused technology improvements such as online payments, and provided innovative solutions to many revenue stream challenges.

“I look forward to utilizing that experience at Connors,” Lewis said.  “Connors has a great tradition and is well postured for the future. Dr. Faltyn has a terrific vision for the school which I will enjoy supporting.”
