Services Available


Library Services and Policies.

Checking Out Library Materials Use your student ID card, or a photo ID to check out up to 5 items.  Do not loan your library card or books to anyone else. You are responsible for damaged or lost books checked out to your card.

Returns Please return materials in the book drops located inside the main entrance of the NAH building, and inside the south entrance of Garner on Muskogee Campus. In Warner materials may be placed in the Library drop-box outside the main entrance of the library. (Do NOT use the book drop or drop-box to return laptops, or video cameras.) Or simply bring them in to the circulation desk.

Renewals Items may be renewed once for an additional three-week period, for a total of six weeks.  Materials may be renewed in person at the library, or online (before they are overdue) by going to PRIMO and then clicking on Sign in near the top of the screen.  Laptops, and video cameras must be renewed in person, and only if they are returned on time.

Overdue Fees  (to be determined)
Overdue, Lost or Damaged Items Failure to pay fees for lost or damaged items will result in suspension of your borrowing privileges. You will also be unable to register for classes, drop or add classes, graduate, or get a copy of your transcript.

Borrowing From Other Libraries
Students and employees can request items owned by another library through the interlibrary loan service available online and in the library. The borrower is responsible for returning materials to the Connors State College library. Reference books, videos and journals are rarely able to be borrowed.
Collaborative Study Room Warner has a collaborative study room available for students who wish to schedule private study, meetings or workgroups. Individuals may schedule the study room for up to two hours at a time; groups may schedule the rooms for up to four hours at a time. The rooms may also be used by students on a first come-first served basis if no one has scheduled them. Students may also check-out laptop computers for use in the rooms. The study room may be reserved at the Circulation Desk.

Digital Collaborative Study Area Muskogee campus library has a digital collaborative study area that is available for students who wish to schedule group meetings or workgroups. Please be aware that this is not secluded and there may or may not be interruptions. Groups may schedule the area for up to four hours at a time. The area may also be used by students on a first come-first served basis if no one has scheduled it. The area is equipped with a Smart board/projector which can be connected to personal laptops. Students may also check-out laptop computers for use in the area. Contact the library at 918-684-5408 for scheduling information.

Videos The library has numerous educational as well as entertainment DVD videos for students, staff, and faculty to use. Faculty can reserve videos for their lessons at least one week prior to the date needed. To request the video to be reserved please contact the library at 918-684-5408 for scheduling information.

Computer Use There are multiple student use computers in the library on each campus. Priority will be given to users who need to do course work including BlackBoard participation, research, word processing, etc.

Printing The library provides printing services to students, staff, and faculty. Students have a preset number of pages that they may print for free each semester.  After that allotment has been used, they need to go to the Bursar’s Office to pay for more printing.  Wireless printing is available for student’s laptops is also available. Ask for staff assistance when encountering printer problems.

Phone Use Please make/take cell phone calls outside the library. In case of emergency, a library staff member may dial an outgoing (local) call for you.

Children in the Library College policy states that children are not allowed in “classroom/teaching areas. The library has been recognized as one of these areas therefore children are not allowed in the library.

Donations to the library All donations directly benefit the library, students and staff of Connors State College by placement in the current collection and/or passing them on, free of charge, to interested parties on campus. All donations are subject to approval by the Library Director.
