Am I Eligible?

The Muskogee Difference Scholarship Committee will choose the recipients based on the applicant’s need, presentation of requested materials, academic achievement, and proximity to Muskogee. Residents of Muskogee, returning students and incoming freshmen will receive higher priority during the selection process.

All applicants must be U.S. Citizens or Legal Residents, meet the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education Oklahoma residency requirements, and be admitted into Connors State College with a declared Pre-Nursing, Nursing, or Allied Health major.

Additionally, applicants must be one of the following:

Incoming freshman with a high school diploma or equivalent and an ACT composite score of 19 or above


Returning Connors State College students in Nursing or Allied Health program with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0


Transfer students with a minimum GPA of 2.0 who are in good academic standing according to the Connors State College Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) Policy.



  • Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
  • Completed application for admission on file in Registrar’s Office
    • One certified copy of current transcript. 7 Semester Complete High School Transcript is permissible for nominees who are college freshmen. Faxed transcript copies will not be accepted.
    • Copy of official ACT scores
    • Copy of immunization records
  • Completed Muskogee Difference Healthcare Scholarship Application Packet
    • Scholarship Application
    • Commitment to Work Agreement
    • One page typed essay describing student’s desire to serve the Muskogee community
