Cowboys' Updates Late Sunday, March 7, 2010 The Cowboys clinched the Region II Championship and a shot at the NJCAA Div. I Men's Basketball Championship by defeating Seminole State College earlier today with a score of 81-70. More information coming soon!!! Sunday, March 7, 2010 The Cowboys struggled in their semifinal game against Murray State but fought back hard to win 72-71 in OT. It was a tremendous effort that propelled the Cowboys into the Championship Game today at 4:00 p.m. against Seminole. Saturday, March 6, 2010 The Cowboys finished the season with a record of 27-2 and will enter the Region 2 Tournament as a #1 seed. They tipped-off against NOC-Tonkawa at 8:00 p.m. in the first game at 8:00 p.m., Friday, March 5. The Cowboys fought hard against a little adversity and overcame it to win and move on to the next round with a score of 64-46. The Championship game will follow, playing the winner from the other side of the bracket at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 7. Cowgirls' Updates Friday, March 5, 2010 The Cowgirls finished the season with a record of 21-6 and will enter the Region 2 Tournament as a #2 seed. The Cowgirls faced #7 seed, Arkansas Baptist, at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 4. After a well-fought game, the Cowgirls fell to Arkansas Baptist 97-85 to end their playoff hopes. Wednesday, March 3, 2010 The Cowboys and Cowgirls will be featured at the Region 2 Basketball Tournaments this weekend.
