Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA)
The Family Educational Rights and
Privacy Act of 1974, sets forth requirements regarding the privacy of student
records. The Office of the Registrar is guided by the FERPA to that ensure
confidentiality of all academic records is maintained. We coordinate and supervise
all academic processes and events with the most effective use of staff and
resources. Our compliance with academic policies and procedures serves as a liaison
to support students in achieving their academic goals. We participate in the
college's enrollment management efforts, with particular emphasis on service that promotes
trust and confidence.
