The NJCAA has released its Academic All-American teams and the Cowboys had seven players named to this prestigious list.
Named by the NJCAA are Andres Gonzalez infielder from Toronto, Canada, Brandon Goldston pitcher from Leedey, OK, Garrett Horton catcher from Edmond, OK, Garrett Meidl outfielder from Bartlesville, OK, Lack Liddell pitcher from Mississauga, Canada, James Roe infielder from Tuba City, AZ, and Peyton Crispin outfielder from Lookeba, OK.
The Cowboys have had 46 baseball players named Academic All-American in the history of their tradition filled baseball program.
“These are special young men on and off the field,” said Cowboy Head Coach Perry Keith. “It takes so much time on the field to do what we do and for them to be able to manage their time and excel in the classroom is not easy.”
