Connors State Cowboys under the tutelage of head Coach Bill Muse will be going after their 41st consecutive home court basketball victory on Tuesday, January 10th at Melvin Self Field House.
Cowboys, who have not lost a game in their house since a 2009 to Seminole State College, puts the streak on the line against arch-rival Northeastern A&M at 8 p.m. at Melvin Self Field House.
The streak is something that we take pride in, said Muse. Its a tribute to the hard work of all the players, past and present that have competed at Melvin Self Field House. Along with our players, our students and fans have played a huge part in helping us at our house.
Winning in our conference is tough and we have a bulls-eye on our back each time we take the floor. Tuesdays game with Northeastern A&M will be a battle, said Muse.
The Cowboys will take an 11-2 season record and a 2-1 Oklahoma Collegiate Athletic Conference mark into the contest. The Golden Norsemen are 7-8 on the season.
