C-Key: [see-kee] -noun
- Identity Management System used by CSC to provide login credentials for access to Canvas, Blackboard (Spring 2020 will be the last semester for Blackboard), CSC Email, office or teaching area PCs (for staff), computer lab and library PCs, Student Information System (SIS), and the Software Distribution Center.

Frequently Asked Questions
If you have enrolled recently (for students) or submitted paperwork recently (for employees), you may not be in our system just yet. Simply wait 24 hours and try again. If you still cannot activate your account, please send an email to cschelp@connorsstate.edu with the following information, at minimum:
- Name (First, Last, and Middle Initial plus any other names your account might be under)
- CWID Number (8-digit number that can be found on the back of your ID card)
- Birth Date (MM/DD/YYYY)
- Contact Information (email address, non-CSC email address if you cannot access your CSC email account, and phone number)
- Description of Your Problem (with any error messages you may have encountered)
If, for some reason, you cannot access your account because of a forgotten password, account expiration, etc. please follow the C-Key Account Reset Instructions above to reset your account and regain access to CSC systems.
NOTE: In order to successfully reset your account using the included C-Key Reset Instructions, please type your previous email with a @connorsstate.edu suffix instead of a @okstate.edu, @neo.edu, etc. suffix.

Your PIN is a unique six-digit numeric code used to activate your account.
Please see the C-Key Account Activation Instructions above for details on where to enter your PIN during the activation process.

If you did not receive a PIN number, please visit the Admissions Office again and they can retrieve your PIN for you.
If you cannot return to campus, you may email the CSC IT Systems Department Helpdesk for assistance at cschelp@connorsstate.edu with the following information, at minimum:

Login to C-Key, select “Change Password”, read the notice and select the “Continue” button, and then either select one of the passwords provided or create your own.

In short, no, we cannot. Due to the complex nature of the system and privacy laws, you must activate and maintain your own account. Instructions for account activation and account resets are included above to assist you with these processes.
If you are visiting the CSC campus in an official capacity and need access to a PC in an area other than the library or the wireless network, please contact the CSC IT Systems Department Helpdesk at cschelp@connorsstate.edu and provide the following information, at minimum:
- Name
- Organization
- Meeting location and time (Please note that you must speak with either Ms. Esther King (Warner) or Ms. Rhoda Strode (Muskogee) to schedule a room prior to making any arrangements with the CSC
IT Systems Department. We are unable to schedule rooms and meeting locations for you.) - Contact Information (email address and phone number)
- Number of Attendees Needing Temporary Login Information
- Any Special Requests (including any systems or special settings you might need)
NOTE: We must receive these requests at a minimum of 48 hours prior to the meeting time. Also, no open logins are provided. All temporary logins expire regularly and are not available for long durations.
NOTE:
All account passwords expire every 120 days so even though you may have setup your account, your password will eventually expire.
If you were interrupted during your C-Key Account Activation process then most likely you have found that you cannot login nor complete the C-Key Account Activation process again. In order to successfully complete the process, please submit an email to cschelp@connorsstate.edu with, at minimum, the following information:
- Name (First, Last, and Middle Initial plus any other names your account might be under)
- CWID Number (8-digit number that can be found on the back of your ID card)

If you do not remember your credentials or are having other issues logging in, please use the C-Key Account Reset Instructions above to reset your account and gain access.
I have contacted the CSC IT Systems Helpdesk but have not yet received a response. What should I do?
The CSC IT Systems Department consists of three full-time employees. Because of this we are often unable to provide immediate turn-around time on all issues and respond to all emails immediately upon their receipt. Please give us adequate time to answer your inquiry and if you believe it has taken too long for a response, please submit a request again.
In some circumstances, we have noticed that a help request does not contain any return contact information, or this information was simply a typo. If this is the case, then the CSC IT Systems Department will be unable to determine how to contact you. If you believe this may be the reason you have not heard back from us, please resubmit a ticket to cschelp@connorsstate.edu with correct contact information including, at minimum, the following information:

- CWID Number (8-digit number that can be found on the back of your ID card)
- Birth Date (MM/DD/YYYY)
- Contact Information (email address, non-CSC email address if you cannot access your CSC email account, and phone number)

Depending on when you have enrolled (for students) or your information was entered by payroll (for employees) your C-Key account information may not yet exist which will prevent you from setting up an account. Please allow a minimum of 24 hours after your information is entered to first try to activate your C-Key account.
If you have surpassed the 24-hour window and still receive this message, please verify you are using the correct login information:
- First two letters of your last (family) name
- Last 5 digits of your Social Security Number
- Date of Birth in proper format mm/dd/yyyy
If you believe you are using the correct information above, you can verify all your information by visiting our Admissions office or sending a request to the CSC IT Systems Department Helpdesk: cschelp@connorsstate.edu.

There can be many reasons for your name to show incorrectly in C-Key. Please select the option you believe may be causing your issues for further instructions:
- Marriage

- A recent marriage resulting in a name change may not be reflected if the Admissions office (for students) or the Human Resources office

- (for employees) was not notified of the change. Please stop by the Admission office (if you are a student) or the Human Resources office (if you are an employee)

- and notify them of the name change. You will most likely need to supply official documentation to process ths change but more information can be obtained directly

- After a voluntary name change, you must notify the Admissions office (if you’re a student) or the Human Resources office (if you’re an employee).

- Preferred First Name
- If your first name isn’t showing correctly, you can change this yourself. Simply login to C-Key, select “Edit Contact Information”, then select “Preferred First Name”. From here you can provide a preferred first name to use such as a nickname or short name for your actual first name. Once this is updated, you may go back and select a different email address.
