The 45th class of the Oklahoma Highway Patrol Cadet Lawman Academy was held the first week of June on the Connors State College, Warner campus.
The program is for outstanding young adults from across the state of Oklahoma. This academy gives students an insight to the life of an Oklahoma Highway Patrol Officer. While at the academy, the students practice drills in precision driving, traffic and boating law enforcement, firearm instruction, self-defense and law enforcement history.
“The OHP Cadet Lawman Academy is one of the most respected and recognized youth summer programs in the state of Oklahoma,” said Dr.Ron Ramming, Connors State College President. “It was both an honor and achievement to host this Academy here at Connors State College.”
