During the first two weeks of the fall semester, Connors State College welcomed the students to campus with the Week of Welcome events.
Events included a BCM ice cream social, bowling, club rush, a service and organizational fair, family movie night, coffee social, minute-to-win-it games, a blood drive, an afternoon floating the river in Tahlequah, and dozens of other events on both the Warner main campus and the Muskogee Three Rivers Port Campus.
“Welcome Week activities are important not just for faculty and staff to build a communication bridge with students, but for students to be social and meet new people,” said Rochelle Vanover, Coordinator of Student Activities.
“The friendships made during Welcome Week are usually the friendships that will last throughout their college career at Connors,” she said.
