Enrollment Schedule

Prior to the beginning of each semester, we will open online enrollment in three different phases or steps based upon the hours of college work each student has completed. We call this our priority enrollment schedule. This helps allow those students who are almost completed with their degree programs to have early access to courses so they can complete their degrees. As the subsequent phases open, users with fewer hours will be allowed to have access to the online enrollment functions.

To calculate the number of hours we use when opening enrollment during the priority enrollment period, we use the following formula:

Priority Enrollment Hours = Current Attempted Hours + Cumulative Earned Hours

What this means is that we count all previously earned hours from previous coursework and we also include any current attempted hours for the current semester. We calculate this number for each student and release enrollment during the three enrollment periods based upon this number for each student. The enrollment periods are as follows:

                Priority Enrollment Periods:

Day 1: Enrollment is open for students whose priority enrollment hours are greater than 45.

Day 2: Enrollment is open for students whose priority enrollment hours are greater than 30.

Day 5: Enrollment is open for all students.
