Connors State College rodeo team members participated at the Southeastern State University rodeo in Durant last weekend with Blazi Weippert leading the way with a third place finish in barrel racing.
William Whayne was fifth in long go tie down racing, Jae Lenhart fourth in breakaway roping, Kash Koester placed fifth in steer wrestling and E.J. Thomas was sixth in team roping.
At the Pratt, Kan., rodeo event Lindsay Wood reached the short round in breakaway roping and at Colby, Kan. rodeo Kash Koester reached the short round in steer wrestling.
The Cowboys and Cowgirls next event will be at Northwestern Oklahoma State University on Nov. 4 and 5th in Alva, Okla.
