Question 1: How do I register for the HESI Nursing Admission Assessment Test?
Answer 1:
1. Fill out the attached form and submit, by clicking here. (Save PDF to Desktop before filling out)
2. Save PDF to your desktop and fill it out completely. Read form completely. When finished, email it to tracy.lieblang@connorsstate.edu.
3. After sending application to the email address as directed, print a copy for proof and bring it with you when testing as there is no confirmation receipt.
4. Be present 20-25 minutes prior to testing time.
5. You must pre-register at least three days prior to the testing date.
Question 2: What should I bring with me to the testing site?
Answer 2: A valid photo ID and a cashier’s check or money order for $60.00 made payable to Connors State College for the exam.
Question 3: How do I prepare for the HESI Admission Assessment Test? Are there any practice tests?
Answer 3: It is recommended by Elsevier to use the HESI Admission Assessment Exam Review book.
Question 4: How many points do I need to pass the HESI Test?
Answer 4: 70% in Reading, Anatomy & Physiology, 65% in Math. (Refer to advisement material)
Question 5: What if I don’t get the number of points I need?
Answer 5: HESI Admission Assessment Test can only be taken twice (2) per application period. Completed tests will be valid for up to two (2) years
Question 6: When do I see my results?
Answer 6: Results will be given following the test. Results can also be picked up in the nursing department.
Deadline for application for fall entry is March 1.
Deadline for application for spring entry is October 1.
