HESI Test: Frequently Asked Questions
Question 1: How do I register for the Hesi Test?
Answer 1: Fill out the attached form and submit, by clicking here. (Save PDF to Desktop before filling out)
- Save PDF to your desktop and fill it out completely. Read form completely. When finished email it to firstname.lastname@example.org.
- After sending application to the email address as directed, print a copy for proof and bring it with you when testing as there is no confirmation receipt.
- Be present 15-20 minutes prior to testing time.
- You must pre-register at least three days prior to the testing date.
Question 2: What should I bring with me to the testing site?
Answer 2: Sharpened #2 pencils and a valid photo ID
Question 3: How do I prepare for the HESI Test? Are there any practice tests?
Answer 3: Review previous NCLEX-PN books and PN course textbooks.
Question 4: How many points do I need to pass the HESI Test?
Answer 4: 800 points (refer to advisement material).
Question 5: What if I don’t get the number of points I need?
Answer 5: HESI Test can only be taken one (1) time per application period. Completed test will be valid for up to two (2) years.
Question 6: When do I see my results?
Answer 6: Results will be given following the test. Results can also be picked up in the nursing department.
