We appreciate your interest in the Presidents Leadership Class and your time in considering whether to apply to our program. Our admissions process is guided by our desire to gain a full understanding of the talents and abilities you possess. Therefore, we want you to submit the strongest application possible. Checklist:

_____  Apply to, and be accepted by, Connors State College before March 1st

Your application is considered incomplete without all of the required documents listed in the checklist below. An incomplete application will not be considered. Using a BINDER CLIP, please attach all the required elements of the application portfolio in the order shown in the checklist below. Please do not staple and please do not place the application in a folder, binder, or notebook.

_____  Completed PLC Regents Tuition Waiver Scholarship Application.

_____  Sealed envelope with your official, 7 or 8 semester high school transcript enclosed

_____  Official ACT Score sheet portraying the ACT trademark (Required only if the ACT score is not included on HS Transcript)

_____  Typewritten resume listing awards, activities, honors, leadership positions & community service hours

_____  Typed essay that describes what most distinguishes you as an individual (Please limit your response to 100 words)

_____  Three sealed envelopes with one letter of recommendation enclosed within each

_____  Sealed envelope, from each college you have attended, with an official college transcript enclosed (If applicable)

The admissions process and criteria for the Presidents Leadership Class is different than what you may encounter in applying for other academic programs and scholarship opportunities. We urge you to review our selection criteria carefully before completing our application.

 

Regents Tuition Waiver Scholarships are awarded to Oklahoma residents only.  (Out-of-State residents are not eligible for this scholarship.)
